Helping Victorian workers to return home safe every day and working with the community to deliver outstanding workplace safety are key goals for WorkSafe Victoria.
To facilitate this goal WorkSafe Victoria supports and funds initiatives that encourage collaboration between organisations to deliver sustained improvements in workplace health and safety.
Past Funding arrangements
Safety Development Fund
Between 2001 and 2006 the Safety Development Fund supported employer and employee groups to develop and implement innovative health and safety initiatives. Applications can no longer be received for this fund.
Types of projects supported
The Fund supported two types of projects:
- implemented innovative high impact solutions to OHS problems; and,
- implemented existing best practice solutions.
