Calculating Your Premium
How do I get the full details about the premium calculation?
The Workplace Injury Insurance Premiums Order sets out the full details on premium calculation. For each workplace, your agent selects and assigns an appropriate industry classification from the Premiums Order. The order contains detailed descriptions of each classification with indicative lists of the type of predominant activities included in each.

Alternatively, the Premiums Order is located in the Government Gazette section of the Craftsman Press website at www.craftpress.com.au.

Premium Simulator 2008/09
WorkSafe have developed a Premium Simulator to assist you in predicting your finalised WorkSafe Injury Insurance Premium for the previous year and estimating your current year’s premium.
Please note that the simulator provides an indicative amount only for both the previous year’s premium and the estimate for the current year’s premium. WorkSafe and your Agent will finalise your premium for the previous year and calculate your estimated premium for the current year in August once they receive your completed Declaration of Rateable Remuneration.
