Care Plans and Medication Management Reviews
Clinical reasonableness must be discussed with the medical advisor (Health Management Specialist) at the relevant WorkSafe Agent (Agent) and prior approval sought from that Agent for MBS items that relate to:
- GP Management Plans
- Team Care Arrangements
- Multidisciplinary Care Plans
- Case Conference (MBS items Group A15)
- Domiciliary Medication Management Review (MBS item Group A17)
- GP Mental Health Care Plans (MBS Items Group A20).
Note: All requirements under the relevant MBS code must be completed and a copy of the plan/review provided to the Agent before payment can be made.
